Debut of my new laser show!

Last weekend I debuted the show I've been working hard on, a show that combines all my passion of LEDs, Lasers & Electronics...

Presenting

THE EFX SHOW!

28th October, the show debuted for two events in one night, 

The SME1 Asia Awards & The RHB Bank's 50th Anniversary Event

This show gave me the opportunity to put all my electronic skills to work, from costume to the "magical" handheld lasers and the remotely activated "laser stars" background you see in the picture, all came from an idea to reality through hours of designing, re-designing, soldering, getting burned, getting electrocuted (many times), and almost getting blind from staring straight into lasers powerful enough to burn concrete! All that said, the show is still far from what I had in mind. Still working on turning some incredible ideas into reality! Look out for it!

Special thanks to all the heroes behind the scenes whom had helped turn this dream into a reality! Everybody at Glorious Singapore, Arthur, Adam, Jason and especially Alan, who dedicated countless hours of his time programming, reprogramming and fine-tuning the laser sequences during his busy work schedule!

Singapore Association of Magician's Annual Dinner 2011!

29th September 2011, I attended our Singapore Association of Magician's Annual Dinner!

It's amazing how time flies, it's been a year since our last annual dinner but this year's dinner was as amazing and fun as the last.

Lots of entertainment for the night as members volunteered themselves to entertain the guest with close-up magic as well as stage performances! Andrew Kong, our vice president entertained us with some incredible magic!

 Joe Yu, an incredibly talented dove magician with an amazing dove act! Check out his website here!

 I had the honor to host SAM's dinner for many years but this year's dinner was hosted by Imran and Jeremy Tan. They did an EXCELLENT job hosting the stage programmes and had kept the audience laughing through the night!

 Daniel Teo, our club's treasurer, actively helping out in all of our club's programmes!

Daisy Ho, our assistant secretary, also a fantastic magician! Daisy was one of my guest performers in March's edition of Magic Carnival!

Pambudi, one of my favorite magicians! Pambudi was also one of my guest performers during July's Magic Carnival! I love his shows! He does an extremely funny and highly entertaining mentalism act!

 XiangZhi & Markson came as my guests for the dinner :-)

 Roger Heng amazed us with his new act! He surprised us with a highly skillful manipulation act, away from the usual stuff he performs. He did a great job!!

My hero, dearest Baha! Baha runs a successful video production company and he's extremely passionate with magic! Baha has been a great help in many of my productions, always supporting me in everything I do! Good morning Baha!!

OMY Gathering at Domino's Pizza!

22nd September, I was invited to a bloggers' gathering at Domino's Pizza!

It was organized by OMY.com.sg. This is the first time I've been to a blogger's event!

This is Linda, telling us about all the features that makes Domino's Pizza unique!

She went through the whole ordering process, showing the unique features of Domino's Pizza's online ordering process!

Apparently you can track your pizza via GPS! How cool is that?!

Shortly after she made the order online, our pizzas arrived!! LOL

It's feasting time!

The food is of course fantastic! But my favorite is this!

The Chocolate Lava Cake!!

Aside from the GPS tracking of your pizza, you can also track the status of your pizza on their screen when you dine-in or takeaway!

 

After eating, everybody had fun taking lots of pictures!

Domino's Pizza is the only pizza company that guarantees your order will arrive HOT and within 30mins, or you get a free pizza! They also guarantee a maximum of 15mins wait for dine-in or takeaway!
